John W. Voner

Senior Pastor

John W. Voner is a man of God with an Apostolic call on his life. From a young age, he has always known he was set aside with a special call on his life from God. Through the leading of God’s voice Pastor Voner endeavors to empower the body of Christ, and to “Live the Life God has Ordained Him to Live!”

John Voner was born in Manhattan, New York; April 22, 1977. His father passed away three weeks before he was born. He never had the opportunity to know his earthly father. Pastor Voner’s mother would raise him along with his twin sister and older sister as a single parent. They lived in New York until 1981, when his mother decided to relocate the family to Omaha, Nebraska for a better opportunity and a safe place to raise her children.

Pastor Voner spent his elementary years in Omaha. From a very young age Pastor Voner enjoyed going to church and serving the Lord. His mother was led to the Power House Church of God In Christ, under the leadership of the late Pastor Robert Lane, and later moved her family to Faith Temple Church of God In Christ where he witnessed the miraculous power of God through the late Bishop Vernon Richardson. Bishop Richardson would later be the first to impart the Gift of Healing in Pastor Voner.

Later Pastor Voner’s mother once again relocated her family through the favor of God to San Jose, California. Pastor Voner spent his high school, and college years here. Most importantly he found the Lord for himself at The New Sweet Home Church of God In Christ in East Palo Alto, CA, under the leadership of the late Superintendent A.C. Macklin. Under this great man of God Pastor Voner grew strong in the Lord and in the word.

In the end of 1996 Pastor Voner was led back to Omaha, Nebraska through the leading of the Lord. He went back and served under the late Bishop Vernon Richardson at Faith Temple, where he accepted his call to the ministry. He was Licensed by Bishop Richardson in 1997. He served there as an Associate Minister, the Youth President, and Minister of Music. Pastor Voner In 2002 was led by God to move his membership to The Second Advent Christian Church of God In Christ, under the leadership of Bishop John O. Ford. At this ministry Pastor Voner worked in many capacities, assisting Bishop Ford. At Second Advent Pastor Voner accepted the call to Pastor.

World Fellowship Christian Ministries was a seed planted in the heart of Pastor Voner two years before its inception. Pastor Voner was given a Shepherd’s heart. He saw a need for God’s people to return back to their Creator. Pastor Voner wanted to reach those that was considered lost. After reading I Kings 17: 4, God told Pastor Voner to go after the “Ravens”, “It would be the Ravens that would sustain the church!” With that charge, Pastor Voner along with four official members, on September 4, 2005 celebrated the first “Sunday Celebration. World Fellowship is now becoming one of the fastest growing churches in the Omaha Metro area. It is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural church where everyone can feel the Spirit of Love and Unity.

Pastor Voner seeks only to do the perfect will of God. He believes in Miracles, Notable Signs, and Wonders. God has gifted this man with the powerful Gift of Healing. Another healing impartation came by Pastor Guillermo Maldonado of El Rey Jesus Church in Miami, FL. `Many have been healed through his ministry. Pastor Voner is blessed also to sit under the tutor ledge of his Spiritual Father Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin of the Potter’s House Christian Fellowship, located in Jacksonville, FL. It is Pastor Voner’s desire to see God’s people have true fellowship with Christ. This Young man is on the move for God. Full of wisdom, and compassion, God has charged this young man to lead in such a time as this. Pastor Voner is a up and coming Champion in the Body of Christ.

Pastor Voner is the husband to the love of his life Lady Carmen M. Voner, and the father of two sons, John Wesley, and James William Voner. Pastor Voner also is a mentor for many young boys in the Omaha Public Elementary Schools. He works with a number of the local elementary schools, and has developed a rites of passage program for grades 4th through 6th . Pastor Voner also sits on a number of Board of Directors for different community organizations including the Mayor’s Clergy Board for the city of Omaha. Pastor Voner travels the nation proclaiming and demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is becoming well known and sought after for the building of the Kingdom. The Spirit of the Lord is upon our Leader, Pastor John Voner.

Lady Carmen Voner exhibits Proverbs 31:10-31. Her goal is to live a life pleasing to God our Father. She is a woman of God who produces Christ in action. Always set apart by God even as a little girl, her life has been a testimony that glorifies God.

Born on December 2, 1974 to Mr. Tom Lofton Jr. and Evangelist Carolyn Hadley (Lofton)-Bell, Carmen Miranda Lofton entered into this world in Beaumont, Texas. She was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She began her search in finding Christ at the First Church of God in Christ. Along with her sister and two brothers she experienced the moving of God through her mother’s ministry. Through many hardships and struggles she witnessed first hand the mighty provisional hand of God. Lady Voner excelled in her education she attended the University of St. Thomas, and later transferred to the University of Minnesota where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology. Her love for children led her to a career as a successful, award winning, and nationally recognized educator. She received the honor of being mentioned amongst The Who’s Who of Teachers. Lady Voner also enjoyed a successful career as a model as well as a participant in both the Miss America and Miss U.S.A. Pageant Association.

In 2001 the Lord led Lady Voner to Omaha, Nebraska to be close to her family. She began to grow strong in God and his Word. Searching for a deeper relationship with the Most High God, she wanted her life to ultimately please Him. She began her ministry as a Praise Dancer, and never sought to perform but to glorify God in the Dance. In 2007 She realized her life was going to head in a different direction. She was preparing for a new move in her life. God led Pastor Voner into her life. They were married on September 1, 2007.

Lady Voner is most thankful for her salvation, then her role as a wife and a mother, “it’s the best!” It is her desire when people see her, that they see Christ, when they hear her they hear Christ. Working along side with her husband in ministry, the Director of Little Seeds Child Development Center a World Fellowship Company, and also Vice President of their company The Voner Group, Lady Voner is an example that other women can style themselves as.
